Jeremy G. Schneider, LMSW, MFT

Jeremy is a family therapist, social worker, and chief technology officer. That combination of clinical experience and two decades running technology is the foundation of the AI Awareness Arc, a clinical framework for understanding what happens when clients turn to AI for emotional support: why AI affects people the way it does, why clients turn to it, and how to work with a client whose use has become concerning.

He is the founder of Build On Your Strengths, a mental health education platform where he teaches trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and self-awareness to more than 11,000 members, with more than 900 five-star ratings in the past year.

Jeremy writes the Human-Centered Technology column for Psychology Today and is a member of the APA Labs Expert Network. His work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and on CNN, and he has been published or interviewed across eight countries and more than two dozen podcasts. He is the author of Fatherhood in 40-Minute Snapshots.
